CASCADE TG-1(1G) THERMAGUARD HEAT SHIELD COMPOUND 1 GAL

ThermaGuard is a premixed thermal insulating composite coating consisting of 80% microscopic air filled glass beads. These precisely manufactured beads are held in suspension by a high-grade latex emulsion. This combination yields a lightweight, pliable product, which expands and contracts with the surface to which it is applied. Two standard coats (15 mil each) will yield an R20 equivalent insulation value. It's suitable for just about any insulating application. Typical applications include vehicle firewalls, floors and roofs, engine compartments, AC ducting and walls. Basically anywhere you would want to insulate from heat or cold TG-1 can be used. Using a 5-mil application, one gallon will cover approximately 50~60 sq. ft. and is easily applied with Cascade Audio's SG-1 spray gun. One gallon container.

CASCADE VB-1X(1G) SPRAYABLE DAMPING COMPOUND 1 GAL

When used at equal thickness, VB-1X provides twice the damping qualities of asphalt damping materials! Excellent for damping resonances in metals, fiberglass, plastic and wood over a wide frequency range. Great for vehicle panels and truck shells, it provides additional SPL to a mobile audio system's output by damping unwanted road noise. It is an air curing, water-based, exterior grade damping paste, which has been engineered specifically for use as an undercoating in various automotive applications and is non-toxic and environmentally safe. This unique combination of silica-mica, ceramics and an advanced chemical binder greatly reduces structural resonance by converting vibration into "viscous" friction or low level heat. Once the purple liquid coating is dry it is a waterproof, very hard film-type abrasion resistant coating, with a black speckled finish.
