Audio-Technica AT-PL120 Professional Direct-Drive Turntable

Audio-Technica's AT-PL120 direct-drive, high-torque professional turntable is perfect for DJs and other music enthusiasts, especially in an era that many would call "postvinyl," when it's no longer the norm for audio/video receivers or even integrated amplifiers to offer a dedicated phono input. A selectable internal stereo phono preamplifier lets you plug the turntable directly into any line-level input, even your PC's (when used with a stereo RCA to minijack "Y" adapter cable, not included). Sony PSLX250H Turntable

Sony's PS-LX250H is an entry-level belt-drive turntable that offers fully automatic operation. It's an easy way to get back into the vinyl game, particularly if your current amp doesn't have a phono gain stage. The PS-LX250H has an onboard phono preamp that'll boost the levels, allowing you to hook into any RCA jack on your amp. It can play back records at both 33.3 RPM (revolutions per minute) and 45 RPM, and comes with a plastic, hinged dust cover.

Finally, there's a way to burn vinyl to CD that doesn't require a computer or an engineering degree. With Teac's GF-350 turntable and CD recorder combo system, you simply load a blank CD-R or CD-RW, put on your LP, press "record," lower the tone arm, and press "play."
